Start coding agents from anywhere.
Runway is a web app for running Claude Code and Codex on your own machines. Hand off a task from your phone, check in between meetings, steer it from the couch. The work happens on your laptop, your workstation or your cloud box, where the code already lives.
Any browser, any phone · Linux and macOS machines · one command to install

A full agent session, wherever you are.
Not a notification that something finished. The whole session: start it, watch it, redirect it and review it, from whatever screen is in your hand.
Start a task in seconds
Pick a machine and a project, choose Claude Code or Codex, type what you want. The agent starts on that machine right away.
Watch it work
Commands, file edits and responses stream in as they happen. Reconnect later and the transcript is all there.
Steer without waiting
Queue follow-ups while a turn is running, redirect the agent mid-task, or stop it.
Approve from your phone
Supervised threads pause before risky commands and ask. Allow once or deny with a tap.
Keep your checkout clean
Run a thread in an isolated Git worktree on its own branch, with a checkpoint after every turn.
Close the tab, it keeps going
Agents run on your machine, not in your browser. Lose signal, switch devices, come back when it’s done.
On the runway in a minute.
Create an account
Sign up and Runway gives you a one-time install command.
Run it on a machine
curl -fsSL https://runway.sh/install.sh \ | sh -s -- <token>
Linux or macOS, with or without root. It starts at boot, keeps itself connected and uses the Claude Code or Codex already installed there.
Start an agent from anywhere
Open runway.sh on any device, pick the machine and describe the task. Add it to your phone’s home screen to keep it one tap away.
And the rest of the machine comes with it.
Sometimes the agent needs a hand, or a second machine. The same install covers both.
A terminal in the browser
A real shell on any of your machines, with tabs and copy-paste. Handy for the one command the agent is waiting on.
Machines reach each other by name
ssh gpu-box.runway or runway forward studio:5432 from any machine on your account, with no SSH keys to hand out. Agents can use it too, to run a job on another box.
Nothing to open up
Machines only make outbound connections to runway.sh, so NAT, firewalls and hotel Wi-Fi are fine. It isn’t a VPN and doesn’t touch your routing.
Your credentials stay put
Claude Code and Codex use the sign-in already on each machine. Runway never sees those tokens.
Runs as you
Shells and agents run as the user who installed Runway, with that user’s files and permissions.
Encrypted in transit
Your browser and your machines each connect to runway.sh over TLS, and it relays between them.
